Injection mold is a mold used to manufacture plastic products by injecting thermoplastic or thermosetting plastic melt into the mold cavity, after cooling and curing to form the required plastic products. Injection moulds are widely used in automotive, electronics, medical, packaging, household goods and other fields.
The structure of injection mold is mainly composed of core, cavity, guide post, guide sleeve, slider, thimble, gate, cooling system and so on. The core and cavity are the core parts of the mold, and their design and manufacture determine the shape and dimensional accuracy of the product. Guide post and guide sleeve are the key parts to ensure the mold opening and closing movement and positioning accuracy. Sliders and thimbles are used to achieve the demoulding of the product. Gates and cooling systems are key factors in controlling melt flow and product cooling.
The advantages of injection mold are high production efficiency, stable product quality, good repeatability and low cost. At the same time, the injection mold also has the characteristics of flexible design, strong adaptability, and can manufacture a variety of complex shapes. Therefore, injection mold has a wide range of application prospects in modern manufacturing industry.
