The Main Component of The Mold

Mold Base: The main structural frame of the mold, usually made of heavy metal, is used to support and hold other mold parts in place.

Core: The core is usually the internal part of the mold used to form the internal outline of the part. It can be a part fixed to the mold base or a movable component, depending on the mold design. 

Cavity: The cavity is the external part of the mold used to form the external outline of the part. It is usually another part of the mold and can be fixed or movable. Venting System: The venting system is used to remove air from the air trap during mold filling to ensure that the parts are fully filled. 

Cooling System: The cooling system is usually composed of pipes and cooling channels, which are used to control the mold temperature through the cooling medium (usually water) to ensure the quality of the parts and the life of the mold. Guide Pins and Bushings: These parts are used to position and guide the mandrel and cavity of the mold to ensure they are precisely aligned.

Springs: Springs are used for the separation and closure of the mold to make it easier to remove parts from the mold.
